Harley and I banded this morning at Big Piney, along the river. It was a short morning, we ended up getting rained out at 0930 after just four hours, but nevertheless we still caught 19 birds, the highlight of which was another Yellow-billed Cuckoo.

Not much going on here this afternoon, Harley went home for the evening and Karen is still gone, leaving me the apartment to myself. Tommorrow Harley and I will band at "Proffitt's Prairie"; normally this would be the last site in our rotation, but the creek at Laughlin Bottoms will probably be impassable tomorrow because of todays rain, and Miller Pond and Macedonia Cemetary are both closed tomorrow due to range activity.
