This morning (July 25) at Miller Pond was our busiest morning of the summe thus far. The first net run alone produced over 20 birds, and our day's total ended up at 47 birds of 18 different species. Some highlights were 3 different LEAST FLYCATCHERS (a MO Species of Conservation Concern), 2 BLUE GROSBEAKS, 1 WORM-EATING WARBLER, 1 YELLOW-THROATED VIREO, 1 BEWCIKS WREN (a recapture from several weeks ago), many young PRARIE WARBLERS, and many young BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS.
